The Zodiac

Ancient DNA "Computer" or Oracle with God?

January 27th, 2005

All right, before we get too far into all of the craziness associated with the weighty questions posed in “The Science of God”, we need to take a step back, take a deep breadth and see if there is anything that we can say with certainty. We again begin with the premise that Greek mythology clearly demonstrates some knowledge and a certain degree of mastery of DNA. While not explained in exactly the same terms that we would use today, someone; at some point, through technological means OTHER than what our current culture is based upon, puzzled out quite a bit of the “technology” of DNA.

It is natural and logical then to reflect that if knowledge of DNA shows up in ancient Greek mythology, are there any other things that have survived from this same period that might ALSO be remnants of that same ancient DNA technology? The answer, while perhaps embarrassing to admit, is quite obvious. The Zodiac and, correspondingly, the Horoscope. I know, I know, but there’s nothing I can do about it. Believe me, it sucks for me that I have to put in writing that I now have to believe in the hokey-ass Zodiac and horoscopes. You have no idea the level to which I have struggled with this and how painful it has been for me to get over my own prejudices and look at this objectively. But, if you look at things objectively, there can be only one conclusion.

That conclusion is that the Zodiac and Horoscope are remnants of a powerful technology of the ancient Greeks, technology that we now call “DNA”. This “technology” was based upon the movement of the earth, planets, sun, stars, etc. and used to make “predictions” about life. It is extremely complex and I actually have no idea how these horoscope things are put together, but that is irrelevant for the discussion at hand.

Now remember here. You don’t have to believe that this is technology is “god”. We’ll just call it “technology” for right now. I’m not sure I’m ready to make the leap to “god” just yet either. But it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter how or where this “technology” came from. What matters is that there is AMPLE proof for anyone that is OBJECTIVE to plainly see that the Greeks had some knowledge of DNA. If we accept for the moment that the ancient Greeks somehow had a mastery of technology that we have just recently discovered, then it is plausible, if not highly probably, that they UNDERSTOOD this technology much better than we do today.

It also follows that this technology formed the basis for their culture. Just like our current culture is based upon the technology of computers, theirs was based upon this technology of DNA. What WE call DNA. And since this was such a powerful technology, their entire culture was most likely based upon it. Hence, the Zodiac and Horoscope, tools used by the ancient Greeks in their everyday lives.

So, let’s look at the Zodiac and the Horoscope in further detail. The Zodiac is made up of twelve symbols. There’s that number twelve again. Remember that from “Ozymandias Strikes Yet Again”? OK, then you know what those twelve symbols represent, the unique, “immortal” gene sequences that make up all life. You know your symbol. Don’t lie. I’m a Pisces. So is my wife. So then, this Zodiac thing allows one to somehow calculate or predict certain events, your Horoscope.

But everyone knows that your Horoscope is sometimes dead on and sometimes way the hell off. Right? So it looks like these Greeks really didn’t have too much of a handle on this DNA stuff after all. Not necessarily. Remember, the vestiges of DNA technology are barely recognizable in Greek mythology after 4,000 years of being told and retold and corrupted again and again. The “grapevine” analogy if you will. Thus, it is certainly plausible, if not highly likely, that knowledge of the “tool”, of the Zodiac and Horoscope, would be EQUALLY messed up.

Now, add to this that our current science has been reinventing the wheel for 4,000 years and our modern-day physicists have been ever so slowly edging towards a “unifying theory” of how the universe works. Essentially, physicists started with trying to explain physical processes like gravity in “rational” terms. As things progressed, this led to the “discovery” of chemical processes, which led to atomic physics, which led to “quantum electrodynamics” and so on. Basically, think of this as peeling off the layers of an onion. Each “layer” is based upon and follows the rules of the “layer” underneath it. So the mathematical laws governing quantum physics are what govern atomic physics, which govern chemical reactions, etc. As our “science” has progressed, we have peeled off more layers of the onion and have come to the realization that there is some unifying formula out there, the “core” of the onion if you will. We keep getting closer and there have been certain landmarks along the way, including Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity. This entire process has led us from questions about “How and why this apple falls from the tree” to “How does the universe work and why?”.

Deep breath…here it comes.

The unifying theory that physicists have been searching for all this time has been staring them right in the face the ENTIRE TIME. In fact, it is the VERY thing that science “rebelled” against in the first place. It is DNA. DNA is the unifying theory of the universe. And we already have a tool, the Zodiac, designed to decipher it. We’ve just possibly forgotten how to use it exactly. There are other possibilities as well, but regardless, physicists will find their unifying theory by studying the Zodiac and how Horoscopes are determined because DNA IS the unifying theory of physics and the universe. And the Zodiac and Horoscope are the most advanced tools ever invented to use this technology.

Again, the irony.

So, what exactly IS the Zodiac and the Horoscope? Well, one interpretation is that these things are ancient tools, an ancient “computer” if you will that allowed the Greeks to predict with some measure of certainty, life. Basically, they understood what was going to happen next based upon the mathematical movements of the whole universe (the moon, stars, planets, etc.). This is what we have been trying to reinvent for over 4,000 years. That, yes, there is some sort of plan involved or some sort of unifying mathematical equations that describe how the entire universe and everything in it operates. This interpretation leads to a couple interesting observations.

First, as already mentioned, it could be that the exact knowledge of how to use this tool has been lost over the centuries. Second, it is possible that while the Greeks somehow understood DNA technology, they had not completely mastered it and were limited in their predictions due to their incomplete knowledge of celestial movements and the mathematical equations to describe those movements. Third, it could be that there is simply an inherent “uncertainty” to the universe because of “free will” and this is as good as it gets. For instance, I could have posted this essay to the Internet yesterday or tomorrow, but I posted it today. Did I just screw-up someone else's Horoscope? Sorry 'bout that. My bad.

Regardless, modern science will find what it is looking for by studying the Zodiac and Horoscopes. We just have to get the physicists to get their heads out of their asses long enough for them to take a SERIOUS look at this stuff without their prejudices getting in the way. Hey physicists, you want to go down in history? Take a SERIOUS look at DNA, the Zodiac and Horoscopes and you will find your unifying theory of the universe. Forget what your “peers” think of you and do it. I’d do it, but, frankly, that’ s not my bag baby. Then again, maybe I’ll give it a shot. Who knows.

There is also another way to interpret this, if you are so inclined. And you don’t have to take this leap, but it is interesting to postulate about nonetheless. If in fact DNA IS “God”…not saying it IS what many envision “god” to be, some omnipotent, all knowing something or other. But, just hypothetically speaking, for the sake of argument, if DNA is what we have been referring to as “god”; and at least that much is certain, then is the Zodiac and the Horoscope a means of talking to god?

And, just to PROVE that I am mostly likely, clearly insane; listen to this one. What if there is some crazy, unifying mathematical proof that controls the entire universe; physicists seem to think so. And suppose that the Zodiac IS based on it thereby proving that certain events can be predicted. And we further suppose that there is this “god” thing that has some intelligence or purpose in mind or whatever. Or maybe it’s just the “natural” order of things. Whatever. And suppose we have sufficient computer and broadcast technology at our disposal… You know where I’m going with this right? I know that that’s an awful lot of “supposing”. But, could we, in actual fact, broadcast THE words of “god”, the ACTUAL “words”, not some individual’s interpretation of those words, but the actual words, by using computers to do the processing and then broadcasting these words in all languages all over the world? There’s a thought, use computers for the fucking purpose they were invented for instead of trying to make them “intelligent”. Yeah, I’ve studied A.I. Know as much as I need to about it. You guys are fooling yourselves. Wake up. Or are we already doing it, in some fashion, wittingly or unwittingly with the daily Horoscope? And if it can be PERFECTED, who in the hell would you trust with THAT? Not to mention how the hell would you actually convince anyone that you’d done it and the idiotically crazy potential implications for modern society and our way of life.

Man, I have to tell you that while I am even writing this I am telling myself. Dude, you sound like a complete freakin’ crackpot on this. I admit it. I wish I didn’t. I wish that this analysis had come out some other way. You don’t know HOW much I wish. But it didn’t. I simply cannot deny what is staring me right in the face and you shouldn’t either. Don’t be oblivious to what is obvious.
