OBKB, so enough is enough about God and all that. Not like it really seems to matter. People are probably still going to believe what they want to believe I suppose. I have noticed that a lot of people are amazingly adept at clinging to implausible beliefs even when those beliefs fly in the face of all logic and reason and have been proven wrong beyond any shadow of a doubt. So I am going to wrap up this whole God business for a while and move on to something else, like reengineering the world. And since we have covered so much ground I figure the best way to wrap it all up is to summarize all of the various points covered to date. However, in order to keep things interesting, I have thrown in a few new tidbits of thought. First, it is apparent that the ancient Mycenaeans and Greeks had some concept of DNA. Evidence for this can be seen in Greek mythology. Thus, knowledge of DNA gave rise to the “myth” of gods and eventually a single “God”. Now science has rediscovered this lost technology and therefore has, literally, discovered the origin of “God”. Improbably, this knowledge has somehow survived the eons, specifically in the form of the mythology surrounding the three Fates, Fortune and the spinning of a unique “thread of life” for every living person. It is likely that the three Fates and Fortune represent the four base proteins, which today we shorthand label G, C, A and T and the spun thread of life a strand of DNA. The twelve original Titans, as well as the 12 immortal Olympians, can be interpreted as the twelve unique sequences that can be formed from these four proteins following the rules for their combination. Where did this technology come from? This is currently unknown. Possibilities include aliens, time travelers, divine intervention, psychic abilities and “primordial link”. “Primordial link” refers to the possibility that the story of creation is effectively embedded in the subconscious, and potentially conscious of animals. Think of this as an embedded link to the natural world. It might take the form of a “movie” or reoccurring dream that “plays” constantly within the mind. Animals are definitely “plugged-in” to certain natural forces that we are not, such as magnetic forces. As humans evolved in intelligence, these images and dreams formed the basis of the first stories ever told but as humans became more intelligent, and less instinctual, this primordial link was lost in favor of reason, intellect and knowledge. This loss then forms the basis of mythologies regarding man’s rejection of the natural world, the tasting of knowledge as causing a “fall from grace”, etc. Note that primordial link and psychic abilities may be one and the same or otherwise related. The Zodiac, horoscope and Greek mythology are all vestiges of the ancient Greek technology of DNA as is the universal and ancient symbol for medicine, two entwined serpents. Even after thousands of years and the loss of significant amounts of material, Greek mythology and art still forms the most accurate and comprehensive analysis of human nature ever compiled. It is likely that the advanced technology of DNA infused all of Greek society and culture, much as computer technology does today. Pi is the unsolvable equation for life because pi represents a perfect circle. Life is a perfect cycle in a world of imperfection. The Greek creation myth can be interpreted as a formula for pi. Chemistry can also be used to create a “proof”; of sorts, for pi as the sequence for the creation of DNA and therefore life from the base elements of N, H, and O. Pi is also quite likely the unifying mathematical equation of the entire universe. It is quite likely that if and when gravity waves are “discovered” by the Einstein Project, gravity waves will be proven to have a frequency of pi. God is quite probably life super-evolved into the perfect life form. All current empirical evidence suggests that life on Earth continually becomes more and more complex, despite tremendous setbacks such as mass extinctions resulting in the elimination of over 90% of all species. Therefore “right” or “good” is the evolutionary path to God and “wrong” or “evil” is the evolutionary path to “not God”. The Maxwell’s demon thought problem forms the basis of a scientific hypothesis for God. First, the existence of DNA trashes current arguments against Maxwell’s demon, which are based on the thermodynamic irreversibility of collecting and erasing information. DNA proves that an unlimited information storage and automated collection mechanism is possible. Mass extinctions are empirical proof of entropy decreases within the isolated system of the Universe. This is not problematic given the empirically proved fluctuation theorem but requires the existence of an observer whose relative size to us is the same as our relative size to sub-atomic particles. Finally, creationist arguments have not been given their due by the scientific community. In terms of explaining the origin of the universe, nature of the universe, and origin of life, creationist explanations are no less provable or “unscientific” than scientific explanations and, in many causes, are favored by Occam’s razor. For instance, neither creationist nor “scientific” theories regarding the origin of the universe can be proven by any direct empirical or observational evidence. Both force one to believe in a physically paradoxical entity or “thing”. In other words, there is nothing intrinsically more “scientific” about scientific theories than creationist theories. Creationist theories force one to believe in an invisible and undetectable God. The "scientific" Many Worlds Interpretation of the universe, the second most popular interpretation, forces one to believe in an unlimited number of invisible, undetectable parallel universes. For some, illogical reason, one theory is considered rubbish and the other sound scientific thought. That is bizarre and irrational to the truly objective mind. The Copenhagen Interpretation, the most popular scientific interpretation of the universe, forces one to believe that the moon does not exist if no one looks at it. Again, what?!? Who makes this stuff up and who anoints this stuff as sound scientific thinking? I’ll leave you with three last thoughts on the subject. First, for those that just have to have the aliens. What do we really know about how super-advanced civilizations might fight an intergalactic war? Given the incredible distances involved and potential for destruction, what if war is not conducted by conventional means but rather through influencing the evolution of life on a paucity of viable planets? By “winning” the evolution of the dominant life form, eventually, universal domination is achieved. In other words, suppose there are super-advanced civilizations of Arthropods, Reptiles and Mammals. Their “war” is conducted by attempting to influence the evolution of life on Earth. What if there are only two great civilizations, one ruled by “God” and one by “The Devil”? Second, DNA can be viewed as an advanced computer programming language with a built in data store. It is a self-contained “object”, a “learning computer”. Not sure what this leads to but it is interesting to think about. Makes our current attempts at “artificial intelligence” look laughable. Third, do we; or “someone”, at some point in the future, “create ourselves” and “ride” out in front of the expanding universe? Thus, we complete the circle. In other words, at some point, we become technologically advanced enough in order to create life. But, the act of creating life requires all of the energy currently contained within the universe. So, we create life by condensing all of the energy into a singularity and somehow ride the wave of expansion in front of the expanding universe. Remember, the universe supposedly expanded faster than the speed of light. This effectively isolated our universe from the creating universe but we left behind the program for DNA and a control mechanism for its creation in the form of gravity waves oscillating at the frequency of pi. |
