I am a white male and I am not allowed to say the word “nigger”. Oops! I just said it, now I am in big trouble. Yeah right. Where this idiotic notion of Blacks being able to say the word “nigger” but not whites is anyone’s guess, but it is idiotic and racist. If you are going to outlaw a word, then you need to infringe upon everyone’s right to free speech equally. We do this with lots of words like “fuck” and “cunt”. However, we should not outlaw words based solely upon the color of one’s skin. Doing that is racist, plain and simple. It is the act of deciding that a certain behavior is OK based solely upon the color of one’s skin. What if some Black guy calling someone nigger used to own slaves? It’s not farfetched; slavery is still rampant in portions of Africa. Apparently, that is OK. But someone who immigrated from Greenland and whose entire lineage never included any slave owners cannot say the word nigger. That is crazy.

We need to be consistent. Either nigger is a proper form of greeting and reference for a Black person or it is not. I do not want your morals and beliefs shoved down my throat telling me that it is OK for one person to refer to another as a “nigger” but not for me. Screw you and your psuedo-facist Nazism. I have even heard the opinion expressed that whites have “lost their privileges” to use the word nigger. Excuse me? I have never used or abused the nigger word. It was absolutely not allowed in my parents’ house. So don’t punish or make assumptions about me based on stuff that a bunch of dead people did. Again, screw you and your psuedo-facist Nazism. I don’t actually know what that means, but it sounds cool saying it and it looks good in print.

And another thing, while it is not OK for me to call a Black person a nigger, it is OK for Blacks to call me a cracker? Not in this lifetime. This “cracker” crap just kind of appeared out of nowhere five or ten years ago and I am now pretty freakin’ tired of people calling me a cracker. Next time someone does it, I am going to press charges under hate crime legislation, which means some black comedian somewhere is going to jail. I swear that the next time it happens, I am going to make a HUGE deal out of it, just you wait and see, I guarantee it will make the news or at least Springer. In fact, while I have been called a “cracker” quite a few times, I cannot remember a single time that I called or referred to a Black individual as a nigger outside of actually discussing the use of the word nigger. So here it comes, for all of you Black readers out there. These next few words are directly squarely at you. White readers may page ahead.

There, I think that makes up for most of the times that I have been referred to as a “cracker” in my life thus far. If you think I overestimated, then go ahead and yell “Cracker!” back at the page a few times. Not too many, I have been called “cracker” a bunch of times.

The really sad part about this whole nigger business though is not only that it is racist in a blatant, obvious sort of way, but that it is racist in a sneaky and damaging sort of way. You see, this whole nigger business didn’t start with “nigger”, it started out as “blood” or “brotha”, as in we’re the same “blood” or we’re “brothers”. You see, the sneaky sort of racism here is that by doing this, Blacks are classifying themselves into a group based solely upon the color of their skin. That’s racism. You see some nigger that you have never met before in your life and you say “What’s up blood?”. By doing this you are immediately assuming that you have something in common with this person solely because their skin is the same color as yours. It’s racist and it should be absolutely offensive to that person. You are stereotyping and grouping that person based solely on their skin color. That is wrong, rude and offensive behavior plain and simple. Get a clue. The whole point to a colorblind society is that no one would EVER make ANY assumptions about an individual based on the color of their skin. That’s the definition of colorblind. Color, what color? By insisting on creating pet names for one another, Blacks are being racist and they are having a detrimental impact to a society in which most intelligent people are colorblind. Being colorblind does not just apply to white people, it must apply to all people. Therefore, EVERYONE needs to be colorblind in a colorblind society, not just certain, select groups of individuals.

But even worse than the racism exhibited by Blacks is the justification for such racism. This stuff is prime moronic logic here. Apparently, we are to believe that the Ebonic version of “nigger”, “nigga”, is not the same somehow as the word “nigger”. “Nigga” apparently is a perfect, socially acceptable means of greeting or reference; if you are Black. And, it is not offensive somehow because Blacks have supposedly co-opted the language of their oppressors and embraced it as a demonstration of their…what…their illiteracy? I mean, to be honest, I have had this concept expressed to me a number of times and I still don’t get it. Replacing an “er” with an “a” is somehow empowering, but the “er” is demeaning and degrading? What? Who? Huh???

Regardless, I am willing to give it a try. I am hereby going to start calling every white individual that I see on the street “kracka”. As in “What’s up kracka?” or “Wigga please, I know your kracka-ass is just feedin’ me a line of crap” or “Yo kracka, you want to stop at Starbucks and get a cup o’ jo?” I mean, if it worked for nigger, then it ought to work for cracker, right? Yes, I too can co-opt the language of my oppressors and embrace it as a demonstration of my complete idiocy and inability to spell. Ha ha! Now, as if by magic, you suddenly have no more power over me! I can be just as racist and damaging to the creation of a colorblind society as you. I will forever make assumptions that all krackas must band together and have a common goal in fighting the oppression of non-krackas. I will…well…I will still probably get pissed when some “nigga” calls me a cracker. But from now on, I’m not going to take it any more. I’m calling for all krackas that the next time you get called a “cracker”, give ‘em a big loud “nigger!” right back in their faces. You may die a slow, agonizing and horrible death, but you also might die a quick, immediate and relatively painless death. Either way, you will be dead and won’t be called a “cracker” any more.
